    OMG…!!! Stumbled on that trail on $10 Wakikik rental bike years ago. I asked the bike rental guy about any single-track and he mentioned this. He then immediately recanted by saying that you cant ride up to there, meaning St Louis Heights neighborhood. Not sure if he meant it because I was a haole, or just a fat old guy. Either way, it sounded like a challenge to me. Yeah, its lots of uphill but I eventually found my path. A few houses have accessible water hoses on the way up, so that's a bonus, especially near the top... On the way down, lots of loops and twisty options. Eventually found a nice flowy way down without those big drops and minimal pedaling or need for protection gear. Turned into a great 1 hour loop. 30 min climb to the top, 15 min cruise to the bottom and 15 min rest at 7-11 then repeat. Used to do this every week. Awesome! ...Not your typical tourist. .

    • @NitroRCNerds
      @NitroRCNerds 5 років тому

      Mathew Doty I would say it depends on how comfortable you are with your tuning prowess. Meaning if you are comfortable with yourtb race tune then absolutely they are quality engines (and this one specifically is as nasty as anything in nova‘s line up). Now if you are still learning how to raise two (and there’s nothing wrong with that we all have to learn) then you most likely will not notice a tangible difference from what you have.

    Sweet! I just got my X-Maxx last week and I have been taking it out EVERY day. Sometimes I'll charge it back up and drive out to look for fun spots. Come by my channel and see what Xmaxx stuff I have soon. Waiting on a new camera mount to do more videos. Although I have a lot of games I will be integrating RC stuff too. My wife just got a stampeed XLV also.

    God, this is beautiful. I probably should have already known that there's a trail at Alum Creek, but I haven't been on a bike in years dang it (and then only on nice, safe, paved Olentangy Bike Trail :-) ) Would love to tackle this as it doesn't look super hairy, but there are some spots (those little narrow bridges, those places right by the water) where I wonder how you stayed on the trail and didn't spill.
